So Why this post? Why quite simply we reward our hard working members with recognition and are delighted to add new members so we can better serve our Gold Coast community. It was an honour to have our DG and Zone representatives at our meeting on the 13th of August and reenergising as we look to close out the year with more fundraising at Bunnings and Christmas Cake sales!
So our August meeting was a special one with a Visit from District 201Q1 District Governor (24/25) Jorge Salles and Zone 4 Chair Vicky Clarke (from Lions Robina) visiting us.
During the meeting DG Jorge Salles presented Lion Barry Rodgers with the ‘Heart of a Lion Award’
And Induction of new member Rob Helder as the newest member of the Southport Lions Club Australia!
